The 3rd International Conference on Archaeological Prospection will be held at the "Alte Münze" located in the City-Center of Munich The address is: Hofgraben 4, 80539 Munich (Map Reference*1)

How to reach Munich

• By plane to Munich International Airport. Then take the S1 or S8 train to Marienplatz, or take the Shuttle Bus to the Munich Hauptbahnhof (Main Staition), Taxis are also available (approximate price for Taxi to Munich downtown is 100.-DM)
• By train to Munich Hauptbahnhof (Main Staition) or Munich Ostbahnhof (East Station). Then take any S-Bahn S1, S2,..S8 in the direction to Marienplatz (approximate price for a Taxi from both Stations to the "Alte Münze" is 15.- DM)
• By car, forget it.

Registration and Field Trip

8 Sept. 1999 from 16:00 hours, at the "Alte Münze".

Booking for the field trip (price DM 40.-) should be done immediately on registration to give us an idea of how many participants we have in order to organize the busses.

Hotel reservations can be organized by yourself via the Internet, and should be done by you as soon as possible. A good location between the city-center and Schwabing, and a 10 Minutes walk to the conference venue at the Landesamt is for example:
