has to go through the full procedure of submitting the cheque, checking that
it is cleared etc.
Make a UK bank transfer: for some banks this is the easiest and cheapest
payment option. For example with Internet banking
this is very simple and with most banks it is free.
Other banks, however, seem to charge horrendous sums (e.g. £20).
From the Eurozone
Make an international bank transfer to the British Pound Sterling account:
even using the
IBAN code considerable bank charges are levied since the UK is not part of the Eurozone.
We received the following reports on charges:
10 Euros charge (5 Euros are charged by both banks involved in the transaction) (report from Austria)

25 Euros charge (report from Germany)

$35 to $40 USD from the U.S.A.

or Money Order: We had some of these but no information on costs so far.

We have now subscribed to PayPal which allows a very secure and simple credit card transaction.
You can either use your existing PayPal account or set one up in an instant.
Your card details will be stored by PayPal.
Service charges of around £0.50 are deducted once your payment is received by ISAP
and this amount is therefore added to the membership fee.
This seems to be by far the cheapest form of transaction.
